I’m coming to understand the simplicity of Love as the ground of all being.
Meaning, simply, The All in all is God.
One glorious summer day, I rode on the back of a friend’s motorcycle,
Gliding through green-smelling pines and gray granite and brown bark,
peering through shadow for a glimpse of deer or fox.
The wonder of it came to me – there is no drama here.
No leaping cougar,
No dinosaur plunging on high mighty thighs breathing fire.
Just sky so blue,
A good man doing the driving.
His passenger, free to wonder, to take in 360 degrees of mountain grandeur.
No THING to do.
One could get bored.
